A BREITENER é a mais nova integrante do Pacto Global da ONU no Brasil, iniciativa que engaja o setor privado em ações alinhadas aos Objetivos do Desenvolvimento Sustentável(ODS).

A BREITENER PASSA A INTEGRAR A MAIOR INICIATIVA VOLUNTÁRIA DE SUSTENTABILIDADE CORPORATIVA DO MUNDO

A BREITENER acaba de ingressar no Pacto Global da ONU no Brasil, iniciativa das Nações Unidas (ONU) para mobilizar a comunidade empresarial na adoção e promoção, em suas práticas de negócios, dos Dez Princípios que abrangem as áreas de direitos humanos, trabalho, meio ambiente e combate à corrupção. Após a promulgação dos Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustentável (ODS), o Pacto Global também assumiu a missão de engajar o setor privado nesta nova agenda.

Estamos comprometidos com a ética nos negócios e combate à corrupção, com a gestão de recursos hídricos e efluentes, prevenção de acidentes e vazamentos e gerenciamento de Riscos, garantindo segurança e compromisso com a vida, governança, gestão de pessoas e impactos socioeconômicos. Respeitamos os direitos humanos e o meio ambiente, em conformidade com os princípios do Pacto Global e os Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustentável.

Lançado em 2000, o Pacto Global orienta e apoia a comunidade empresarial no avanço das metas e valores da ONU por meio de práticas corporativas responsáveis. Com mais de 16 mil empresas e quase 4 mil organizações não-empresariais, distribuídas em 70 redes locais, que abrangem quase 170 países, é a maior iniciativa de sustentabilidade corporativa do mundo.

Já a Rede Brasil do Pacto Global foi criada em 2003 e hoje é a terceira maior rede local do  mundo, com mais de 1.600 participantes. Os mais de 40 projetos conduzidos no país abrangem, principalmente, os temas: Água e Saneamento, Alimentos e Agricultura, Energia e Clima, Direitos Humanos e Trabalho, Anticorrupção, Engajamento e Comunicação.

Ao integrar o Pacto Global, nos comprometemos a reportar anualmente o nosso progresso em relação aos Dez Princípios. Assim, a iniciativa estimula a evolução constante das práticas internas de sustentabilidade. BREITENER JOINS THE WORLD’S LARGEST VOLUNTARY CORPORATE SUSTAINABILITY INITIATIVE

BREITENER has just joined the UN Global Compact in Brazil, a United Nations (UN) initiative to mobilize the business community to adopt and promote, in its business practices, the Ten Principles covering the areas of human rights, work, environment environment and combating corruption. After the enactment of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the Global Compact also assumed the mission of engaging the private sector in this new agenda.

We are committed to ethics in business and the fight against corruption, with the management of water resources and effluents, prevention of accidents and leaks and risk management, ensuring safety and commitment to life, governance, people management and socioeconomic impacts. We respect human rights and the environment, in line with the principles of the Global Compact and the Sustainable Development Goals.

Launched in 2000, the Global Compact guides and supports the business community in advancing the UN’s goals and values ​​through responsible corporate practices.
